Differential Diagnosis of the Cervical Spine

The course will describe differential diagnoses indicators for musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeletal causes for cervical spine pain. The focus will include common cervical spine pathologies, potential red flags, neck pain subgroups, treatment based neck pain categories and integration of subjective interview findings into the patient examination and assessment.

2. Recognize potential red flags for cervical spine pathologies
3. Describe differential diagnoses indicators for musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeltal causes for cervical spine pain
4. Integrate subjective interview findings into an efficient, streamlined assessment examination

This course is approved for 1.0 CCUs by the PT Board of Examiners.
