Course Objectives:

  • Identify which athletes are at greatest risk of Pathologic instability
  • View instability as a spectrum of anatomic variance
  • Recognize the dangers and drawbacks of surgical intervention in this age group and diagnosis
  • Develop goals for rehabilitation of the athlete with MDI

Speaker Bio:

Dr. Lindsey Dietrich of Orthopedic Medicine Specialists is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist. She has served as a team physician for two Division 1 universities and cared for numerous community athletic leagues. Her research interests include arthroscopic surgical techniques, ligamentous knee injuries, and management of roller derby athletes.
