PT Sunset Bill Signed by the Governor

The PT Sunset bill (SB317) has been signed by Governor Abbott. Therefore, the PT profession will retain its independent licensure board for the next 12 years, in addition to Texas moving forward with the licensure compact for PTs. However, the Direct Access bill failed this session. By any standard, TPTA had a very successful legislative session.
