The Next CAD event will be the September Regular Meeting

This meeting will NOT be broadcasted!
We will have this meeting at a central location that will be announced soon!
At which time we will hold on the positions of Chair, Secretary, HOD Delegate.

This group will speak to us about the upcoming Sunset Review of our practice act. This will also be a PAC fundraiser so please come prepared to support our profession. The Sunset Review will impact all PT's and PTA's in the state of Texas and our involvement and participation in needed to assure that we come out of the review for the better!
The schedule will be 5pm social, 5:30 to 6:00 Elections, 6:00 to 730 Sunset review presentation.
The Capital Area District is continuing with the multi-site meeting format. There are now five sites involved; University of St Augustine, ACC Eastview Campus, Texas State University, Encompass Home Health and Scott & White Round Rock. Each location will receive a broadcast of the latest district news along with a "special topic" of interest to the district. Primary locations will rotate through each site, with the others participating via video link as satellite locations.
Meetings follow a regular format of social time from 5:00-5:30 pm, business and special topic presentation from 5:3pm-7:00pm. We will return to hosting an evening CCU offering at regular meetings as well as a Saturday 4 CCU offering once per year.
Looking Ahead for 2016
Planning ahead for 2016! We will continue the multi-site format to better serve our CAD members, while reintroducing 1.0 CCUs at each quarterly meeting.

The Capital Area District (CAD) was organized in 1981 as a new district for Austin area Physical Therapists and Physical Therapists Assistants who were members of the Texas Physical Therapy Association. The CAD is one of thirteen districts in the state of Texas and includes twelve counties: Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Fayette, Gillespie, Hays, Jackson, Lee, Llano, Mason, Travis, and Williamson.
