An overview of wound care for neuropathic ulcers. 

At the conclusion of this program, the learner will understand the following information related to neuropathic ulcers:

*Diagnosis/Evaluation/Risk Assessment/Screening

Speaker Bio:
Ms. Contreras received a BA in Biology from Boston University in 1997. She pursued Physical Therapy studies at UTEP and received a Master's in Physical Therapy in 2001. In 2012 Ms. Contreras was awarded a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University.

Ms. Contreras has been in practice for 13 years, with areas of concentration in acute care, orthopedics, and wound care. She is wound care certified.

Additionally, Ms. Contreras has guest lectured at the UTEP DPT program, she has assisted in the development of wellness programs for patients with cardiac risk, and she has served as an APTA delegate from 2012-2014. 

District Meeting will start at 6:00 p.m.
Course begins at 7:30 p.m.
