The TPTA Practice Committee presents:

Practice Webinar Series - Measuring Patient Outcomes in Physical Therapy

Webinar Description:

The evidence of intervention effectiveness depends on the use of standardized outcome measures that are reliable, valid and reflect clinically important outcomes. The skills expected of physical therapists and development of our profession in a changing health care climate requires increasing accountability in decision making as part of the process of providing desirable outcomes. This discussion will highlight the impact of outcome measurement in our current practice across the care continuum and identify next steps within our own practice settings.

Webinar Objectives

By the end of this webinar, the learner will:
  1. Understand the importance of utilizing outcome measures in physical therapy practice.
  2. Reflect on current practice and identify solutions to barriers/challenges in the utilization of outcome measures.
  3. Improve effectiveness in the selection and utilization of outcome measures in clinical practice.
