Verbal education along with powerpoint presentation and demonstration to live audience as well as via GoToMeeting format through video conferencing.



1. Discuss typical gait mechanics.

2. Discuss gait impairments that may lead to need for AFO.
3. Discuss types of AFO.
4. Discuss variations on gait mechanics dependent on AFO type. 


Speaker Bio:

Drew Fulfer is a Certified Orthotist. He has been practicing for Shannon Medical Center for two years. He specializes in custom fit and modified orthotics including shoe orthotics, AFO, KAFO, as well as spinal orthotics and hand orthotics. He provides services across the spectrum of patient settings including acute care, inpatient rehab, skilled nursing, home health, and outpatient.
