At the conclusion of this program, the learner will be able to:

  1. Identify primary functions of visual and vestibular systems.
  2. Understand correlations between visual and vestibular systems and impact of head trauma.
  3. Recognize symptoms from the intake that indicate visual and/or vestibular dysfunction.
  4. Identify appropriate treatment strategies based on visual-vestibular impairments identified In the evaluation/examination. 

Speaker Bio:

Bridgett Wallace, PT, DPT, ITPT, V2FIT holds a doctorate of physical therapy, a competency-based certification in vestibular rehabilitation, and a competency based certification in concussion management. She is an lmPACT certified trained physical therapist. She has been treating patients with dizziness and balance disorders for more than 20 years with a focus on concussion management for more than 15 years. Bridgett is the owner of 360 Balance & Hearing in Austin, TX, Director of Clinical Education for Concussion Health and has served as a concussion consultant for college and professional sports medicine programs as well as the Major League of Baseball Umpires Medical Team.
