Advocacy for physical therapy is a hot topic in our profession. Efforts are lead to allow better access to physical therapy services while also supporting practicing professionals and these efforts require time and money. There can at times be a lack of understanding exactly what is required at all levels with these efforts. 1CCU

At the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to:

2. Describe the structure of different organizations that lead these efforts;
3. Recognize the challenges and roadblocks that arise and how members can help overcome them.
