The number of mixed martial arts and kickboxing schools continues to grow each year and it is important that we as physical therapists are knowledgeable in both the injuries seen and the physical demands required to perform these sports. The purpose of this presentation is to identify the differences between the sports of boxing, kickboxing, and muay thai and the common musculoskeletal injuries that occur within the three. The secondary purpose of this presentation is to discuss rehabilitation concepts specific to the striking athlete. 1CCU At the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to: Speaker(s) Schedule Fees Additional Locations Please login to the meeting using the email address provided when registering as that is how we verify attendance.
