At the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Identify ECPTOTE and PT Board responses to COVID-19;
2. Identify telehealth rules compliance;
3. Identify new renewal requirements;
4. Identify methods of staying informed with regulatory changes.

Speaker(s)
Karen Gordon, PT is currently the PT Coordinator at the Executive Council of Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE). Her responsibilities include coordinating the activities of the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners (PT Board) and the physical therapy related activities within the agency. Prior to accepting the position, Ms. Gordon was appointed to and served on the PT Board for 12 years. Clinically, she has practiced in a variety of settings including private practice, hospital, home health, and compliance auditing/peer reviewing.
