At the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to:

1. Identify updates to the PT Rules;
2. Identify mandatory renewal requirements;
3. Identify telehealth rules and compliance;
4. Identify answers to frequently asked questions.

Speaker(s)
Karen Gordon, PT is currently the PT Coordinator at the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners(ECPTOTE). Her responsibilities include coordinating the activities of the Texas Board of PT Examiners ( PT Board) and the physical therapy related activities within the agency. Prior to accepting the position, Ms. Gordon was appointed to and served on the PT Board for 12 years. Clinically, she has practiced in a variety of settings including private practice, hospital, home health, and compliance auditing/peer reviewing.

Registration closes at noon (CST) on 11/18/2021. In order to receive credit, you must be present for the entire course and complete the course evaluation here. Credits will be issued no later than November 28, 2021. Please allow until then for processing. You will log in to the same account used for registering to retrieve your transcript. Please wait until after that date to contact TPTA if your CCUs have not posted on your transcript.
