These research presentations were done by physical therapists based on physical therapy interventions/physical therapy topics of interest. The former residents spent much of the last year completing this research project so that they may graduate from their physical therapy residency programs. They had previously presented to a few different residency programs in late August. 1CCU 

At the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Learn current ACSM/CDC guidelines;
2. Gather data on the feasibility of the 10-minute Shadow Boxing HEP protocol over six weeks;
3. Investigate the short-term changes in functional outcomes and physical function in patients with knee OA after completing the Shadow Boxing HEP protocol;
4. Explore the difference between readmission and rehospitalization;
5. Investigate how pt discharge disposition affects these outcomes nationwide and within HHS;
6. Explore hospital and system factors affecting discharge disposition nationwide.

He just recently graduated having a completed a year-long research project called a capstone. He has since been hired on as a physical therapist by the Harris Health System and is here to present his Capstone presentation.
