Cardiac pharmacology is an incredibly important consideration when it comes to exercise and treatment from a rehab standpoint. Many patients in today's world are on medications that are controlling some aspect of cardiovascular health. This includes everything from blood pressure medications, blood thinners, and other major cardiovascular medications. It is important to understand these medications, the side effects they have, and how that potentially effects management of patients in physical therapy. 1 CCU At the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to: Speaker(s) Schedule Additional Locations N/A Registration Fees TPTA PT/PTA Member/Students- Free Non TPTA PT/PTA Member- $10 Registration CCUs are only issued to PTs and PTAs. In order to receive credit, you must be present for the full course. After the course complete the course evaluation by 3/8/2024. Link to the evaluation in is your confirmation email. You must follow all instructions, including completing registration. Credits will be issued after verifying attendance and completion of evaluation no later than March 12, 2024.
