Lily Jimenez, PT, DPT, NCS is a Neurologic Physical Therapist and lover of everything neurology, based in El Paso, Texas. Her fascination with neurology sparked during her sophomore year in college, leading her to discover her true calling. In 2017, Lily earned her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas at El Paso. Lily completed her neurologic residency in 2020 at Kaiser Permanente in Northern California and became a neurologic specialist in 2021. With a diverse range of experiences, Lily has honed her skills in various settings including neurosurgical centers, trauma centers, acute care, inpatient rehab, home health, outpatient neuro rehab, telehealth, and virtual wellness programs tailored for individuals with neurologic conditions. Currently, she works in acute care at The Hospitals of Providence Sierra Campus and at the Texas Tech Multidisciplinary Neurology Clinic for people with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). In addition to her clinical commitments, Lily shares her knowledge and expertise as a leader and educator, guiding students through Neurological Rehabilitation I and II at the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at the University of Texas at El Paso. Lily is also the content creator and founder behind "The Brain PT" - a dynamic online platform revolutionizing neurologic physical therapy education. Through innovative posts, informative videos, and interactive discussions, Lily's fosters a vibrant community of learners, where knowledge is shared, skills are honed, and professional lives are elevated.
